About Delia Niya
Delia Niya is the world’s first Romanian-Chinese actor in Hollywood. Her unique cross-cultural background has made her screen persona a rare combination of bold, sexy, and funny. She is using these skills for acting and more. Here’s how.
Delia as a child split her time between Romania and Beijing, absorbing both cultures in pursuit of her first love, acting.
In high school, she trained at one of England’s most elite drama schools, where she developed a strong acting foundation through starring roles in stage productions, including Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors and Agnes of God. She then moved to acting college in Los Angeles to pursue more popular and comedic roles like Cabaret.
She has now been cast in a major soon-to-be-announced feature film from the producer of Mortal Kombat.
But Delia doesn’t believe in waiting around for opportunities; she creates them. She not only starred as the lead but also produced award-winning short films, including Under the Sun, Girls Guide to the City, and the University of Southern California short film Dr. Tag.
She is truly one of the world’s first global actors, appealing to `European, Western, and Eastern audiences. She has one big mission: to bring the world a little closer together through the shared storytelling of film.
